Amazing Race - All Star Edition episode 8, was shot here in Malaysia.  Surprise, Surprise!!

After rounds of elimination in different countries, five teams remain and flew from Poland about 5500 miles away to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Dustin & Kandice arrived at KLIA. This team is my favourite. Both are beauty pageant with brains. Smart chicks.

When arrive at Malaysia, the first destination led all five teams to the Batu Caves, Selangor. Here, they have to climb the staircase and find the cluebox.

Myrna and Charla were chasing the RapidKL bus. Malaysian bus won’t stop unless you run towards them.

Dustin and Kandice was the second team arrive at Batu Caves. They must have thought, “Is this Bangalore or Malaysia?”

Eric & Danielle were discussing which route to take at the KL Sentral, a transportation hub for the Klang Valley. 

The next destination was at the Kampung Baru Mosque, Kuala Lumpur. This is where the famous ‘bubur lambuk’ came from during the Ramadhan month.

At the Kampung Baru, all teams have to find the cluebox located at the overhead pedestrain bridge. Yeild ahead. As expected, Eric and Danielle were been yeilded again.

At the detour challenge, teams have to choose between the two tasks. Batik painting ……

.. or eat cookies until you die find the clue at Chow Kit road, behind the Chow Kit Balai Bomba.

Phil said “make your way to Chow Kit Bomb” missing an “A” sound.

Amazing Race fans in Malaysia gave support to Charla during the challenge.

Road Block - the challenge is to collect whole load of old newspaper using bicycle at Taman Sri Hartamas, Kuala Lumpur.

And no surprise, they have to shout the Malaysian way… “surat khabar lama”…

What really made Malaysian proud is.. we’re polite and helpful towards strangers (mat salleh). We never hesitate.

Charla recruited Malaysian underage labor.
