Vietnam during Tet 2008

Similar to Chinese New Year , Vietnamese also celebrate the beginning of the spring and their new year is called Tết. Happy New Year greeting in Vietnamese - It’s “chúc mừng năm mới”.
It’s interesting to learn the Vietnamese language, especially when nobody really speaks English, it important to know the language. And the very first word I learned is “Tit Cho”. It means dog meat. Just want to make sure that no “Tit Cho” in my noodle soup.

CNY Reunion Dinner 2008

Since most of the family members are traveling during the New Year, we had an early reunion dinner this time. It was on the 2nd Feb 08, and we had a feast at my home. Thanks to my mum and aunties, the courses were amazingly huge. Time to gain the new year flab, people. Eat!
